Personal Introduction

I am a nurse, and I spent 10 years working in a Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital. But for a long time, I realized something: while I was taking care of others, I had forgotten how to take care of myself.

Every month, there was one day I feared the most ? not a night shift, not a busy workday, but the day my period arrived. The pain was so intense that medication could barely help. I often had to go to the emergency room and receive pain relief support just to get through it.

?If I cannot even care for my own health, how can I truly care for my patients??

Years of night shifts and stress also affected my sleep. I could barely rest at night. During the day, I felt tired and unfocused, while at night my mind would not slow down. My hands and feet were often cold.

One day, I decided to return to the simple routines I had seen around patients for years, but had never truly applied to myself: warm foot soaking, moxibustion-inspired wellness routines, going to bed earlier, reducing cold drinks, and drinking warm ginger and jujube tea.

The change did not happen overnight. The first month, I noticed little difference. The second month, I could finally sleep through the night. The third month, my monthly discomfort became much more manageable. It was not a miracle; it was the result of consistent, patient care.

Later, during my journey to becoming a mother, I experienced pregnancy losses before finally welcoming my child. That period taught me even more deeply that caring for the body is also about patience, emotional support, and learning to listen to subtle signals.

After 10 years, I decided to take a different path ? to share the traditional wellness wisdom I truly believe in with more people around the world. ChinaQiWay was created for people who are curious about traditional Chinese wellness but want information that is clear, practical, and culturally respectful.

I am not your doctor. But I can be your guide to discovering traditional Chinese wellness. If you are looking for a gentler, more natural approach to caring for yourself, I would be honored to walk this journey with you.
